Of course this won't fix 99% of items becoming useless, but at least you'll never again have to go through the soul crushing task of IDing 50 200 DPS weapons. Closer to D2 where having an Azzurewrath or a Nord's Tenderizer was more about the effects it had, than the damage the weapon did.ĭrowning in a sea of crap - Less drops, but more powerful drops. Weapon damage is out of control - Ranges will be tightened so your character's entire effectiveness isn't dependent on your weapon. There are two few legendary items worth using - Loot 2.0 adds nearly 250 new legendary items, which, if they do their job right, most will be perfectly useable. We're far too dependent on CC/CD/IAS - Nothing is known about this much, looking at some items in RoS demo, there could be nerfs to certain stats like CD, which means balancing, which means they're considering this issue carefully. Legendary items are dull - 2.0 adds hundreds of new affixes that can affect your build. Loot 2.0 isn't about just adding a few new items (well, it kind of is) it's about completely changing the item game, or at least that's the hope.
